Godber & Co. are structural engineers specialising in the design, fabrication, and installation of artworks.

We have experience of working at a range of scales, and in a variety of materials: from furniture and exhibition stands, to major structural alterations and construction of new and existing buildings.

We work for individuals, organisations, and institutions – both public and private.

We work alongside and collaborate with fellow structural engineers and architects; artists, makers, builders, project managers, building services engineers, Party Wall surveyors, cost consultants and other professionals.

We are not currently taking-on new projects.

The company was set-up by Ben Godber in 2010.

Ben studied architecture at the Bartlett, UCL and practised in architecture before qualifying as an engineer. He has more than twenty years’ design experience and has returned to teach structural design and construction technology at the Royal College of Art, the Bartlett, the Architectural Association, Imperial College, the University of Kent, and Kingston University.

Ben is currently training as a secondary school physics teacher.
